A former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, says the opposition party Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will inflict on the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC, ‘fire and fury’ in 2019, when the nations go to the polls.
Mr. Fani-Kayode disclosed this on Wednesday during his appearance on Channels Television Politics Today. He made the statement about 24-hours after President Donald Trump of the United States threatened to unleash ‘fire and fury’ on North Korea.
He was positive that the PDP would regain power from APC after the Supreme Court sacked Senator Ali-Modu Sheriff and uphold Senator Ahmed Makarfi led National Caretaker Committee to take over the leadership of the party.
“Thank God for the rule of law, thank God for the Supreme Court. We are back on course, we have our party back, it’s now left to us to manage the success and ensure that we inflict what I would call ‘fire and fury’ like Donald Trump on the APC in 2019 and I am sure that we will actually do that.”
